The four transformations of a Ji day
Each day's stem gives four stars Hua Lu, Hua Quan, Hua Ke and Hua Ji. This part is the general version; it doesn't look at anyone's chart.
Wu Qu Hua LuSteady, hands-on work pays off. Good for dealing with money and the practical side of work.
Tan Lang Hua QuanYour ambition runs high. Go after what you want, and remember to focus on what matters.
Tian Liang Hua KeGood for asking someone more experienced for advice, or giving advice yourself; either is likely to be well received.
Wen Qu Hua JiWords and messages are easily misread. Write important things down clearly and check them again.
Today's pointers (general)
General version: the color follows the day stem’s element and the direction follows the day branch, so it is the same for everyone. Treat it as a light tip for the day, not a promise.
Chinese almanac
Hour by hour: the twelve double-hours
The Chinese almanac splits the day into twelve double-hours, each watched over by one of twelve day spirits. Six are on the yellow path (auspicious) and six on the black path (inauspicious). The Zi hour straddles midnight, so it appears twice. An inauspicious hour is not off-limits; it just calls for a little more care.
The twelve zodiac signs on September 27
September 27 is a You (Rooster) day. This uses the folk zodiac rules of harmony, clash, punishment, harm and break to show how the day meets each sign. It is a traditional zodiac custom, separate from Zi Wei Dou Shu: treat it as a light guide for planning.
