Sole editor of the tales from 1815
Jacob established the framework for Grimms' Fairy Tales; from 1815 on, Wilhelm alone was responsible for editing and rewriting the tales. He made their style consistent, added dialogue and improved the plots, and many tales grew to twice the length of their earliest versions. In his chart, the Life Palace has no main star but holds Wen Qu (Wang). Wen Qu is often read as literary flair and fine phrasing; his rewriting of collected stories into something pleasant to read can be read alongside this star.
Source ↗Lively and often out in society
Wilhelm's character was a complete contrast to his brother's. The visitor Richard Cleasby described him as "an uncommonly animated, jovial fellow"; he was much sought after in society, which he frequented far more than his brother. In his chart, the Travel Palace holds Tan Lang (Li). The Travel Palace covers going out and dealing with people, and Tan Lang is the star of sociability and popularity. It fits his fondness for social occasions.
