What Friend is
A stem with the same element and the same polarity as your Day Master is Friend; for a Jia Wood Day Master, another Jia. It stands for you, for siblings, classmates and colleagues, and for self-reliance: doing things on your own strength and making your own calls. Friend supports the Day Master, so when the Day Master is weak it is reliable backup.
When Friend is strong in your chart
When Friend is plentiful and shows on the stems, you have firm views and strong will, and you are hard to talk out of things.
