Where the chart lines up
The tower's idea came from his team
The design of the Eiffel Tower originated with Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier, engineers at his company, and the architect Stephen Sauvestre then added decoration; Eiffel was not much interested at first, backed the plan only after seeing the improved version, and bought the three men's patent rights to the design. In his chart, Zuo Fu and You Bi share his Life Palace. Zuo Fu and You Bi are stars of help, standing for the helpers and team around a person, which lines up with how the tower's idea came from his company's engineers.
Source ↗Leading the climb up the tower in 1889
The main structure of the tower was completed at the end of March 1889. On March 31 (nominal age 58), Eiffel led a group of government officials and journalists up the stairs, a climb of more than an hour; at the top he raised a large tricolour, and a 25-gun salute was fired from the lower level. In the annual Four Transformations of 1889, Wu Qu (Ping) takes Hua Lu (Transformation of Wealth) into his natal Career Palace. The Career Palace covers career, and Hua Lu stands for gains, which lines up with the tower's completion that year.
Source ↗Twenty years of the tower's income
The contract for the tower was signed by Eiffel in his own name, and the government granted him 1.5 million francs, less than a quarter of the estimated cost of 6.5 million francs; but all income from its commercial use during the exhibition and for the following twenty years was to go to him. In his chart, the Wealth Palace holds Zi Wei (Wang) with Hua Quan (Transformation of Power). The Wealth Palace covers money, and Hua Quan is having the lead; this contract kept control of how the money came in in his own hands.
