In the summer of 1965 (nominal age 23), Morrison and Ray Manzarek, whom he had met a few months earlier while studying cinematography at UCLA, became the first two members of the Doors; Manzarek was impressed by Morrison's poetic lyrics, claiming that they were "rock group" material. He was then in the Decade Luck for nominal ages 16–25 (1958–1967), and in the decade's Four Transformations You Bi takes Hua Ke (Transformation of Fame) and enters his natal Friends Palace. The Friends Palace covers friends and companions; the two are worth setting side by side.
