Terms in this palace · Tap for a plain explanation

You have strong drive and also bump into people easily.

Leave yourself an extra step in everything.

Stars
Wu Qu NatureYou are resolute and decisive, efficient in what you do and sensible with money. When you dig in, leave a little room for softness.
Qi Sha NatureYou have drive and nerve, the boldness of the General Star. Before you charge ahead, know your way back.
With Challenging StarsWu Qu and Qi Sha meeting harsh stars make you tough on top of tough, and money and conflicts are where you most easily force things. Step back first and then talk, and you lose less money and hurt fewer people.
Origin PalaceWhat you care about most is becoming who you want to be, and you give your all only to what you chose. When stuck, ask yourself whether you really want it.
Life Master Wen QuYou are naturally expressive and artistic, and you get noticed through expression. Write, speak and make things. Your Life Master sits in your Friends Palace, so your thoughts often circle around your circle of friends.
Patterns
Sha Po Lang (Killings, Breaker, Wolf)Your Life Palace sits on the Sha Po Lang line: life moves in big swings and you rarely sit still. Change is your fuel, but always leave yourself a way back.Classic pattern
This part follows the Flying Star school: where this palace's stem sends its transformations. It is a different method from the classical reading above.
Lu to ChildrenThe palace stem sends Ju Men Hua Lu into your Children Palace: what your effort brings often ends up with children and younger people.
Ji to PropertyHome matters often worry you and money tends to go there. Plan big household costs ahead.
Minor Stars
Long ChiYou have taste and ingenuity, with a keen eye for beauty and handcraft. Put that gift to use.
Di WangEnergy is at its peak, with plenty of strength and conviction. At the top, remember to ease off a little.
Fei LianIt often feels like you are fighting alone, with few people able to help. Reach out and talk things over; do not carry it all yourself.

The Life Palace is about: Who you are at the core: your temperament and innate makeup. Every chart reading starts here.

What the Quan Shu says about this palaceLook at where Zi Wei lodges: it presides over the whole order of the heavens and leads the constellations to form the enclosures. If the earth star rests in its own enclosure, it is as if it could set things in motion. The metal star is in sole charge of the treasury and most fears Kong Wang, the empty positions.“Tai Wei Fu” ›Tian Ji gives a figure neither tall nor short, and a heart inclined to do good. Wu Qu has a code of conduct that is utterly strict and held utterly tight, and a resolute, decisive mind.“Xing Xing Fu” ›Qi Sha is like Zilu, who would fight a tiger bare-handed and wade across a river; Huo Xing and Ling Xing are like Yu Rang, who swallowed charcoal and feigned muteness.“Xing Xing Fu” ›My Quan Shu (52 lines on this palace) ›

Where the chart lines up
