Why the birth time matters
In Purple Star Astrology, the Life Palace is set by the birth month and the two-hour slot of birth, and the fourteen main stars follow from it. Born on the same day, different hours give different stars.
Most pets have no recorded birth time, so we chart all thirteen slots of that day. You usually get eight to ten different stars. Picking the one that fits your pet best is a way of working backward from its personality to its likely birth hour.

FAQ
What if I don’t know my pet’s birth time?
Choose “Not sure.” We chart every slot of that day and list the possible stars. Pick the one whose description fits best.
Can I use its gotcha day instead of a birthday?
Yes. Many pets are adopted or rescued, so the day it came home works too. The card will say it was charted from the gotcha day.
Is it the same for cats and dogs?
The star’s personality is the same; only the everyday examples change. A Po Jun dog takes apart the couch, a Po Jun cat pushes things off the table.
Is a pet chart accurate?
Purple Star Astrology was made for people; using it for pets is a playful extension, just for fun. For health and care, trust your vet and your own eyes.
